Shadows of doubt clouding your path,
Hiding light at the end from sight.
Your kind heart drew in the world's wrath,
And drew you deeper into night.

Even in the dark there shone a light,
Bringing you back from darkness' edge.
A soul willing to give a fight,
To bring you back from peril's ledge.

Though the danger is not quite past,
I'm here, like always, for you still.
Don't care how long the darkness lasts,
I will be here to guard you still.
