Brought to ruin, fallen from grace,
Unable to keep life's mad pace.
Lost all direction, turned to dust,
As all such things in the end must.

Fought for my life, lost to darkness.
Fought for my love, lost to distance.
A lost cause, in darkness endless,
Lost my mind to foul circumstance.

I've already fallen, failed, lost.
In the end, I will pay the cost.
My life, my world, my hopes and dreams,
Torn asunder by the world's schemes.
