Eyes that bore into the doomed soul
Where no other mortal can go
Eyes that burn minds like glowing coal

What terrors have those deadly eyes seen?
Blood, death, the killing of your kin
Where else have your killing eyes been?
Tricks of the mind that terrors win

What have those haunted, dead eyes seen?
I think perhaps I may soon know
When those eyes bore where none have been
And to me their true horrors show
